White, luster, square crystal, density 3.59~3.95g/ml, badly volatilizable, its congealed form from vaporizing form appears white or pale yellow needle shape. It can vaporize without thaw. Sublimation temperature 315 C , Melting point 340~350C. It badly dissolves in water and turn to selenite acid. Selenium dioxide gas appears yellow-green and smells garlic.
