also known as: Li cones, Jacaranda tree, flower, flower, a horn news hematoxylin, acacia, Jing cones. Spiny shrubs or small trees,2~ 4 meters high. Branch slightly into a Z shape, 

with lenticels; stipules pricklelike, sharp, ca. 1.2cm. 2bipinnately compound leaves,4 to8 pairs of pinnae; leaflets usually 10~ 20on, linear quadrature circle, long 2- 6millimeter. Heads of 1 or2 to3axillary, globose, flowers and more dense, ca. 1cm; peduncle long hair,1 to3 cm; flowers yellow, very fragrant, ca. 1 mm; calyx campanulate, 

upper calyx teeth short and blunt; corolla tube,5 crack; stamens numerous; ovary long tubular, apex curved stigma. Pod cylindrical, expansion, the length of 4 to10 cm, 

diameter 1 ~1.5cm, straight or curved. Florescence in October. Wild or cultivated.
