Application:

      Magnesium hydroxide is a new and filled type flame-retardant. It can reduce the surface temperature of filled synthetic materials in flame through the thermal decomposition to release bound water, absorbing a large amount of latent heat, can inhibit polymer decomposition and cool the combustible gas produced by it. Decomposition of magnesium oxide is good fireproof material; also can help to improve fire resistance performance of synthetic materials, and the water vapor emitted by it can also act as smoke suppressor. Magnesium hydroxide is an excellent flame retardants generally acknowledged rubber industry with triple function of flame retarding, smoke suppressing and filling. It is widely used in rubber, chemical industry, building materials, plastic and electronic, unsaturated polyester and paint, coating and other polymer materials. It can replace aluminum hydroxide, has excellent effect of flame retardant, especially for mine air duct washroom coated cloth, PVC whole core conveyor belt, flame retardant aluminum composite panel, flame retardant retraction, PVC wire cable materials, Mining Cable sheath, and flame retardant of cable accessories, suppressing smoke and antistatic. Compared with the same kind of inorganic flame retardants, magnesium hydroxide has better smoke suppression effect.
