General Description

A clear or yellow liquid. Bp: 188°C. Toxic by inhalation, by skin absorption, ingestion, and eye contact.

Usage

as high-efficient tertiary amine catalyst, it can be used to produce almot all foamed palstic products. It is mainly used to produce flexible foam products, and is especially suitable to produce products of high resilience and RIM. Its features are high catalyzing activity, stable foaming, high tolerance level to tin, and easy adjustment of formula. The product made of it will have better resilience and extensibility than that made of others. 

Reactivity Profile

Bis (2-(dimethylamino)ethyl)ether reacts as a base. Reacts exothermically with acids. May form explosive peroxides upon exposure to the air.
