Physical and Chemical Properties: This product is the low volatility, the high boiling point colorless greasy solvent, has the rose fragrance and the ignition taste slightly.Melting point 11-13℃, boiling point 244℃, relative density (20℃)1.11, index of refraction (20℃)1.536 1.541. It is easily dissolved in the mellow, the ether, the acetone, the glycerine and the caustic soda solution, slightly soluble in water 30 g/L (20°C) and olive oil.The nature is stable in the acid or the alkali. Because had the extremely good solubility to the acrylicresin, the nitryl cellulose, the ethyl cellulose, the epoxy resin, the alkyd resin, the phenoxy resin and so on each kind of resin and can mixed dissolved with the mellow, the ether, it is called as “All-purpose Solvent”.
