IHT-FC a-Tetralone is mainly used in synthesis of naphthol by dehydrogenation. It can also be used as an intermediate for synthesizing Norgestrel, Rodenticide and Benazepril in pharmaceutical industry. Moreover, it can be used as a solvent and plastic softener. Its chloride substitute has pesticidal function.
