Properties:

ENDURACIDIN is generated after fermentation of streptomyces fungicidicus, belongs to raw medicine or intermediate products, the appearance is white oryellow-white powder, the melting point is 226℃(brown color), decomposed at 234℃-238℃degree.Generally, the usual form is rough enduracidin, the appearance of which is gray or gray-brown powder,has aspecial odor smell. Enduracidin can be dissolved in the solution of HCl, slightsolublein water, methanol and ethanol,insoluble in acetone. Enduracidin is the mixture of enduracidin A (C107H138N2603Cl2)and enduracidin B (C106H140N2603Cl2), the enduracidin hydrochlorate is white powder,present stability strongly to the heat, sunlight and humidity.enduracidin has ahigh-stability in the feedstuff, little degradation could be happened when long-period storage in the normal room temperature, furthermore, enduracidin is stable in granule during the process of making, enduracidin could not be degrade in intestinal tract, still retain its own antibacterial activity.

Usage:

As the polypetide antibiotic,enduracidin is widely used for feedstuff additive and growth promoting agent, and has a high activity to grampositive bacteria, restance to drugs.In clinic, enduracidin is usually applied as growth promoting agent of antibiotic, andpromote thegrowth of the poultry, livestock and fish. It can improve the conversion rate of the feedstuff, which could be used as the feedstuff additive for the pig at the ages of under 4months. The application volume could be 2.5(10x104u)-20(80x104u) g/t, and apply for the feedstuff additive of chicken at the ages of under 10 weeks also, but forbidden being used in the laying period. When add the 2mg/kg or 6-8mg/kg to the fodder for silver carp, they could grow rapidly, which reduce the usage quantity ofthe fodder. Itsmolecular weight is 2500 or so, owning to the very high molecular weight.

Enduracidin could not be absorbed in intestinal, there is noproblem ofthedrug residue or the with fractal period. In compatibility, enduracidin could not be applied with tetracyclines,virginiamycin,kitasamycin or bacitracin zinc.
