Formula: MgSiF6 . 6H2O M.W. : 274.48 Properties: Colorless or white crystals , not easy deliquescence, but effloresce to lose crystal water, easily soluble in water, dilute acid, hardly soluble in HF, insoluble in alcohol. Its aqueous solution appears acidity. Specification:(%) MgSiF6 98.0 min. Water-insoluble matter 0.25max. H2SiF6 0.2 max. MgSO4 0.5 max. H2O 0.6 max.
