Characteristics:
Colorless and transparent liquid, with boiling point 202 and flash point 95, can dissolvable in water and many solvents, such as acetaldehyde, ether, acetone, etc.
Usage:
NMP is widely used in senior lubricating oil refining, polymers, synthesis, insulation materials, pesticide, printing ink, high-grade coatings, pigments and cleaner (deoiling, degreasing, dewaxing, polishing, antirust and depainting) etc, also applied to artificially kidney function membrane fluid and seawater desalination membrane fluid.
As a high-selective solvent, NMP has such advantages as non-toxicity, high boiling point, low corrosion, high solubility, low viscosity, low volatility and good stability and easy to recovery. It is mainly used in electronic industry in the following aspects:
(1) As solvent of poly(1,1-difluoro-Ethene); or electrode's accessory material of lithium ion battery.
(2)As remover liquid of photoresist; in the production of LCD materials;
(3)As solvent in pharmacy;
(4)Cleaning of precision instruments and circuit board
(5) Concentrate of ethylene and extracting of butadiene,isoprene, aren, etc.
