Chemical nature White needle crystals. Melting point 43°C, boiling point 250°C, 152°C (2.27kPa), 132°C (1.2kPa), refractive index 1.4579 (25°C), flash point 101°C. Soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in hot ether, insoluble in benzene.

Applications Hardeners for the production of polyurethanes, unsaturated polyesters, plasticizers, gelling agents, thermal stability stabilizers for lubricating oils, etc.

Uses for the production of pyrethroids, organic peroxides, cyclic musks, polyethylene plastic crosslinkers and polyether rubbers.

Uses Organic synthesis intermediates. Plasticizers. Dye coupling agents. Printing ink preparation.
