What is Herba Geranii Extract produced

Cranesbill is a perennial herb, growing up to 2 feet tall with hairy stems. The leaves, which are arranged in opposite pairs, are usually divided into five toothed lobes. Five-petaled flowers (April-June) are pale pink to rosy purple and bloom in clusters at the end of each stem. The fruits bear a fanciful resemblance to cranes' bills.

Cranesbill originated in North America and is sometimes grown ornamentally in a variety of flower colors.The root is primarily used in herbal medicine, but the above ground part of

the plant has also been used traditionally by herbalists.Cranesbill is high in tannins, which may account for its anti-diarrheal activity
