126213-50-1 Becavi EDOT
Physical and Chemical Properties
3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene, or 2,3-Dihydrothieno[3,4-b]-1,4-dioxin, for short EDOT, is colorless or light brown liquid, with slightly unpleasant odor. Its melting point is 10.5℃. Slightly soluble in water, its solubility at 20℃ in water is 2.1g/L
Application
As the monomer of conducting polymer, EDOT is mainly used to synthesize conducting polymer PEDOT. Before impregnate, usually make organic solvent like ethanol to dilute it to the range of 20~30% concentration. After impregnating and drying the core cladding, the product can enter the next process.
