HMDTMPA can inhibit most scale formation such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate and ferric oxide. As water treatment chemicals, HMDTMPAis used as scale inhibitors for calcium sulfate and barium sulfate, for calcium sulfate in particular.
