5、Character: It is white crystalline powder. Relative density is 1.862. It’s soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. Aqueous solution is alkaline. It reacts with Fe²⁺ and Mg²⁺to form chelates.

6、Usage: In food industry, it is used as buffering agent, swelling agent, chelating agent, stabilizer, emulsifier and color improver.

7、Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
