What Erlotinib is used for:

• Treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
• Treatment of patients with locally advanced, unresectable or metastatic pancreatic cancer

Note: If a drug has been approved for one use, physicians may elect to use this same drug for other problems if they believe it may be helpful.

How Erlotinib is given:

 

• Erlotinib is given in tablet form to be taken by mouth at least one hour before or two hours after eating
• Tablets are supplied in 25mg, 100mg and 150mg strengths
• Amount of Erlotinib that you will receive depends on many factors, including your general health or other health problems, and the type of cancer or condition being treated, your doctor will determine your dose and schedule
