Uses for organic synthesis

Production method 3-Hydroxypropionitrile was added to a sodium hydroxide solution to react at 30°C, the reaction mixture was evaporated to dryness under reduced pressure, and the temperature was further increased until the product became a paste. After cooling, stirring with sulfuric acid, the resulting 3-hydroxypropionic acid was extracted with ether, and the ether was distilled off to obtain syrupy 3-hydroxypropionic acid with a content of 75-80% in a yield of 28-31%.
