Ecdyson oder genauer α-Ecdyson ist ein Hormon, welches bei vielen Tieren zu finden ist. Zur Aktivierung muss das Ecdyson hydroxyliert werden. Als klassischer Vertreter gilt hier das 20-Hydroxyecdyson (Ecdysteron) oder auch β-Ecdyson. Bei Insekten, Spinnen und einigen weiteren Tiergruppen ist es for die Hnutung zustandig, weshalb diese Gruppen auch als Hnutungstiere zusammengefasst werden.

Es gehort zu den Ecdysteroiden und wirkt hnlich den Steroidhormonen der Vertebraten durch Stimulierung der Transkription bestimmter Gene unter Vermittlung intrazellularer Rezeptoren. Insekten sezernieren es mit Drsen (Prothoraxdrse) im ersten Brustring, welche wiederum unter der Kontrolle des prothoracotropen Hormons (PTTH) steht. Ecdyson lost bei gleichzeitiger Anwesenheit von Juvenilhormonen die Larvenhnutung aus, fehlt hingegen das Juvenilhormon kommt es zur Adulthautung.

Ecdysterone (20-Hydroxyecdysone or 20E) is a naturally occurring ecdysteroid hormone which controls the ecdysis (moulting) and metamorphosis of arthropods. It is therefore one of the most common moulting hormones in insects, crabs, etc. It is also a phytoecdysteroid produced by various plants, including Cyanotis vaga, where its purpose is presumably to disrupt the development and reproduction of insect pests. Our Ecdysterone is purified, dried and packed in the GMP standard environment and can be used for final formulation directly.

Application:

Beclomethasone is used to prevent and control symptoms (wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by asthma. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works directly in the lungs to make breathing easier by reducing the irritation and swelling of the airways.

This medication must be used regularly to prevent breathing problems (attacks of wheezing/shortness of breath). It does not work immediately and should not be used to relieve an asthma attack. If an attack occurs, use your quick-relief inhaler as prescribed.
