Property:
Slight yellow or colourless solid powder. Easily dissolved in water, its aqueous solution is acidity. PH is identical with vitri-olic solution of the same molarity. Slowly lose water of crystal by heat, zirconium dioxide is formed at high temperature.
Application:
Used in tanning high-grade leather and zirconium com-pounds.
Storage: as intermediates for the others, also used as cod-liver oil decolorant, sedimentating and isolating amino acid(e.g.glutamic). Etc. To be protected from moist when stored up, prevent getting in touch with general metal.
