Isophorone 78-59-1 IPDI
Service we provide:
Physical and Chemical Properties:
Isophorone (IPHO) is an unsaturated cyclic ketone with highboiling point. It's an isomers mixture of a-isophorone (3,5,5-Trimethyl-2-Cyclohexen-1-One) and b-isophorone (3,5,5-Trimethyl-3-Cyclohexen-1-One). As a result of its particular chemical structure, Isophorone has an excellent dissolving power for various organics, polymers, resins and chemical products.

Usages:
Isophorone is widly used as a highboiling solvent in paints and varnishes, especially for PVDF resins and as levelling agent for polyacrylate, alkyde, epoxy and phenolic resins. Isophorone is the raw material for preparation of IPDA (isophorone diamine), IPDI (isophorone diisocyanate) and 3,5-Xylenol. In the herbicide and insecticide formulations, isophorone is also used and show its excellent emulsifying properties and high stability.
