Uses: Good activity against protozoa (Ammonia lysate, Trichomonas vaginalis, etc.) and anaerobic bacteria. It is superior to metronidazole in the effects of amoeba and Giardia lamblia. Gram-positive anaerobic bacteria (digestive cocci, digestive streptococci, Lactobacillus), Clostridium and Clostridium difficile are sensitive to this product; this product is resistant to Bacteroides fragilis, Fusobacterium and Fischer Gram-negative anaerobic bacteria such as Coriolus are slightly better than metronidazole, and Campylobacter jejuni is moderately sensitive to this product.
