Useage:
1, preparation of purified DNA,It can be used to prepare purified DNA from a large number of mucopolysaccharide producing organisms such as plants and certain gram-negative bacteria (including some strains of e.coli).
2,Extract whey protein
The foam produced by CTAB beating can separate whey proteins, and more than 80% of the individual proteins can be obtained.The polar non-region of CTAB contains positive charge, and the isoelectric point of most whey proteins in whey is below PH5.5, while the surface of protein in normal whey fluid (PH6.5) is negatively charged, and the binding of protein particles and CTAB leads to electrostatic binding, forming whey protein-ctab complex.
3,Synthetic coumarin
Coumarin was synthesized by perkin reaction using CTAB as activator, anhydrous potassium carbonate as catalyst, salicylaldehyde and acetic anhydride as raw materials.CTAB can effectively activate the catalyst anhydrous potassium carbonate, increase its alkalinity, and increase the yield of coumarin to 85.3%.
