Appearance FTY720 is an aminopropanediol cell-permeable EDG-1 (endothelial differential gene 1 receptor) antagonist and immunosuppresive agent. Fingolimod is a sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor modulator, which sequesters lymphocytes in 
lymph nodes, preventing them from contributing to an autoimmune reaction.


Indications and Usage:
Treatment of patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis to reduce the frequency of clinical exacerbations and to delay the accumulation of physical disability.


Dosage and Administration:
Adults:PO 0.5 mg once daily.
