What is Gallnuts Extract Tannic Acid

Chinese Gall is the gall produced mainly by parasitic aphids of Melaphis chinensis (Bell) 

Baker on the leaf of Rhus chinensis Mill. ,Rhus potaninii Maxim, or Rhus phunjabensis Stew. 

var. sinica (Diels) Rehd. et Wils. (Fam. Anacardiaceae). According to its form the drug is 

divided into "Dubei" and "Jiaobei".

Gallnut extract  seems to have anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. Gallic acid acts as a 

antioxidant and helps to protect our cells against oxidative damage. Gallic acid was found 

show cytotoxicity against cancer cells, without harming healthy cells. Gallic acid is used a
