Botanical Name: Citrus Aurantium or Bitter Orange tree. 

Origin: Citrus Aurantium hails from Morocco. 

Form: The Neroli oil is a thin consistency essential oil. 

Scent: It gives a medium level sweet-floral aroma. 

Shade and Appearance: Yellow. 

Chemical constituents: The main constituents of Neroli oil are Linalyl & Neryl-Acetates, Methyl-Anthranilate, Camphene, Farnesol, Geraniol, Indole, Linalool, Nerol, Nerolidol, α&β-Pinenes, α-Terpinene. 

Extraction method: The Neroli oil is extracted from the small, white, waxy flowers of the bitter-orange tree by the means of steam distillation. 

Blends well with: The Neroli oil gels well with Benzoin, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Coriander, Frankincense, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Myrrh, Orange, Palmarosa, Petitgrain, Rose, Sandalwood and Ylang-Ylang oils.
