This product is no sparse group, long-acting, oral angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. In the liver after oral hydrolyzed to the diacid compounds having activity, i.e. quinoline enalaprilat, inhibit ACE, to block the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, so that the vasoconstriction mediated by angiotensin II significantly weakened, reducing arterial vascular resistance; it also inhibits the synthesis of aldosterone, aldosterone produced by reducing water and sodium retention, blood pressure decline further. So it is a safe and effective antihypertensive drugs.
