Sodium danshensu is a  white to light brown powder.Phenolic aromatic acid compound, soluble in methanol, water, insoluble in chloroform, ether. Danshensu is unstable in nature, so it is made into sodium salt with the same effect as Danshensu. It is mostly used for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, regulating qi and relieving pain, and is used for chest tightness and angina pectoris.
