1. Emulsifiers in emulsion polymerization, such as vinyl acetate emulsion, polystyrene emulsion, styrene-butadiene emulsion, vinyl chloride/vinylidene chloride emulsion, etc.
2. As a binder and a binder in water-soluble phenolic resin.
3. As an anionic leveling agent in the dye.
4. Used as a leveling agent in nylon printing and dyeing.
5. As a synergist, spreader, wetting agent, penetrant and flow agent in pesticide emulsions.
6. Used as a wetting agent, coupling agent and stabilizer in detergents.
