BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY	1. Obovatol has antioxidant, neuroprotective, antiinflammatory, antithrombotic and antitumour effects. 2. Obovatol is a potent NF-κB inhibitors for Alzheimer's disease treatment. 3. Obovatol shows inhibitory effect on the Salmonella type III secretion system, it could be useful for the prevention and supplementary treatment of bacterial infections. 4. Obovatol inhibits the growth and aggressiveness of tongue squamous cell carcinoma through regulation of the EGF-mediated JAK-STAT signaling pathway. 5. Obovatol induces apoptosis via CHOP activation in A549 and H460 NSCLCs. 6. Obovatol inhibits receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) ligand (RANKL)-induced osteoclast differentiation in vitro and inflammatory bone loss in vivo, it may be a useful therapeutic agent for the treatment of pathological bone disorders characterized by excessive osteoclastic bone resorption. 7.
