Sulfomethyl-phenolic resin

1. SMP HTHP filtration control agent is a sulfomethylated phenolic resinthat is primary used in fresh and salt water based drilling fluids.

2. Reduces HPHT filtrate volumes in most of water based drilling fluids in temperature ranges up to 428°F (220°C)

3. SMP is a condensed polymer of phenol, formaldehyde and sulfite. As a good filtration control agent in super-deep wells, it can effectively control fltration loss.
