High Quality clinoptilolite

Zeolites belong to a family of crystalline alumino-silicate minerals which have a cage-like 3-dimensional structure, consisiting of SiO4 and AlO4 tetrahedra joined together by shared oxygen atoms.

The negative charge of AlO4 units are balanced by the positive charge of freely exchangeable cations which can be replaced by the ions of ammonium oxide or certain heavy metals. This is known as cation exchange, and cation exchange of zeolite is high - up to 1.9 meq/g.This provides for many useful properties of this product.

Uses: turf care, fertilizer manufacture, land remediation, waste water treatment.

Sizes available: 0.7 - 1.6mm, 1.6mm - 3mm, 3 - 5mm, 5 - 9mm, 9 - 16mm. It is also available for special order in the following sizes: <300 micron, <100 micron, <40 micron.

It is supplied in 25kg bags, except <40 micron, which is supplied in 20kg bags. Also, 0.7 - 1.6 mm product is available in 1MT big bags.
