2. Product Presentation:
L-tryptophan is an important precursor of auxin biosynthesis in plants. It has a similar IAA structure. It is widely found in higher plants. There are two ways to synthesize auxin. The first is the oxidation and deamination of tryptophan to form indole acetone, followed by decarboxylation and formation of IAAId; under the corresponding enzyme, IAAId oxidizes indole acetic acid. The second way is to decarboxylate and form a tryptamine, which is then oxidatively deaminated to form tryptophan.
