Application & Uses: A fluoroquinolone synthetic, broad-spectrum antibacterial agent for oral administration. BSP/USP
Storage & Stability: Keep container tightly closed in a cool & well ventilated area. Hygroscopic. The product is stable. Protect from excessive heat, dust generation, incompatible materials & moisture. Reactive with oxidizing agent.
Gentamycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic derived from an actinomycete of the genus Micromonospora, used in its sulfate form to treat various infections. Gentamicin is one of the few heat-stable antibiotics that remain active even after autoclaving, which makes it particularly useful in the preparation of certain microbiological growth media.
Function:
1. Applicable to the treatment of sensitive bacteria caused by neonatal sepsis, sepsis.
2. For the treatment of sensitive bacteria caused by respiratory infections, peritonitis, biliary tract infections.
3. For the treatment of sensitive bacteria caused by the genitourinary system infection (except for simple urinary tract infection early treatment).
4. Suitable for the treatment of sensitive skin caused by skin and soft tissue infections, burning sensation and so on.
5. Oral can be used for bowel infection or colonic surgery before preparation
6. Intramuscular injection of clindamycin or metronidazole can be used to reduce the incidence of infection after colon surgery.
7. Intrathecal injection can be used as Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Staphylococcus aureus caused by severe central nervous system infection (acute suppurative meningitis, ventricular inflammation) adjuvant therapy.
8. Gentamicin can also be used to treat listeriosis.
9. Gentamicin eye drops for coagulase negative and positive staphylococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and other gram-negative bacilli and Neisseria gonorrhoeae caused by conjunctivitis, keratitis, tears Bursitis, eyelid inflammation, meibomianitis and so on.
