Physicochemical properties White monoclinic or hexagonal crystals or white crystalline powder. It is odorless and has a special sweet taste.
 
Melting point 248 C (decomposition)
 
The solubility is easy to dissolve in water. The solubility in water is 25 g/100ml at 25 C, 39.1g/100ml at 50 C, 54.4g/100ml at 75 C and 67.2g/100ml at 100 C. It is extremely insoluble in ethanol and dissolves about 0.06g in 100 g absolute ethanol. Almost insoluble in acetone and ether.
 
Uses: Used as biochemical reagent, medicine, feed and food additives, nitrogen fertilizer industry as non-toxic decarbonizer
