Optical Brightener CBS-X(CAS#27344-41-8) is soluble in water, anionic type, maximum spectrum absorption at 348-350nm, mainly used in detergent industry and soap industry.,it is commonly added during producing process. These additives are often used to enhance the appearance of color of fabric , causing a "whitening" effect, making fabric look less yellow by increasing the overall amount of blue light reflected, and resulting in their strongly fluorescent appearance under UV illumination.
