Fipronil is a phenyl pyrazole insecticide with a wide insecticidal spectrum. It has stomach toxicity, contact killing and certain endogenous effects on pests. Its mechanism of action is to hinder the chloride metabolism controlled by gamma-aminobutyric acid. Therefore, it has high insecticidal activity against aphids, leafhoppers, planthoppers, Lepidoptera larvae, flies and coleoptera, and has no insecticidal harm to crops. It can be applied to soil or spray on leaf. Soil application can effectively control maize root beetles, needles and ground tigers. When sprayed on leaf surface, it had a high level of control effect on Plutella xylostella, Plutella rapae, rice thrips and so on, and had a long lasting period.

Application:

1. Fluoropyrazole-containing broad-spectrum insecticides have high activity and wide application range. They are also highly sensitive to insect pests such as hemiptera, miaoptera, coleoptera, Lepidoptera and pyrethroid and carbamate insecticides. It can be used in rice, cotton, vegetable, soybean, rape, tobacco leaf, potato, tea, sorghum, maize, fruit tree, forest, public health, animal husbandry, etc. to control rice borer, brown planthopper, rice weevil, cotton bollworm, armyworm, Plutella xylostella, cabbage armyworm, beetle, root-cutting insect, coccidial nematode, caterpillar, fruit tree mosquito, wheat Longhorn aphid, coccidia, trichomonas, etc. The recommended dosage ranged from 12.5 to 150 g/hm2. China has approved field efficacy tests on rice and vegetables. The preparation is 5% suspension and 0.3% granule.
2. Mainly used in rice, sugarcane, potatoes and other crops. Animal health care is mainly used to kill fleas and lice on cats and dogs.
