XPhos Phosphine CAS 564483-18-7
XPhos is a type of alkyl-substituted biarylphosphine ligand derived from biphenyl. The palladium complex has been shown to exhibit high catalytic activity in Backwald-Hartwig amination in which aryl halide and aryl tosylate react. Both palladium and copper complexes are active in coupling aryl halides and aryl tosylates with various amides. It is also an effective ligand for many carbon-carbon bond forming cross-coupling reactions such as Negishi coupling, Suzuki-Miyaura coupling, and Sonogashira coupling without using copper.
