Application: 

Povidone iodide is an unstable complex formed by the complexation of surfactant and iodide. It is an external disinfectant of iodide class. It is an amorphous powder of yellowish-brown to reddish brown at room temperature. The 1-vinyl2-pyrololonone homopolymer is a surfactant, which helps the solution to wet and penetrate the object, thus strengthening the bactericidal effect of iodine. Among them, 80 ~ 90% of the bound iodine can be depolymerized into free iodine, with large concentration, strong bactericidal force, tasteless, no stimulation, no sensitization and low toxicity. As a broad spectrum fungicide, can kill viruses, bacteria, spores, fungi, protozoa. Under the concentration of 15ppm, it can kill the propagator of various bacteria (golden yellow grape ball Chemicalbook bacteria, escherichia coli and pseudomonas aeruginosa) within 1 minute. It takes a long time to kill the tuberculosis bacteria, 1.5 hours to kill the fungus (bacillus subtilis), and a high concentration and a long time to kill the black mutant and bacillus cereus. Hepatitis b surface antigen (HBsAg) can be destroyed for 10 minutes at a concentration of 150ppm. This product is not only used for skin disinfection, but also for disinfection of metal medical instruments, utensils and so on. It is usually red or amber in disinfection concentration and can be applied directly to the skin and meninges of the incision site of the patient. It can also be used for external flushing in the department of obstetrics, gynecology and urology. When its concentration drops below 10ppm, it turns white or light yellow and loses its bactericidal activity.
