Properties:

Orange-yellow crystalline powder. Has a special smell. Melting point 179-182 ° C. Insoluble in water and ether, soluble in ethanol, glacial acetic acid and propylene glycol. It is reddish brown under alkaline conditions and light yellow in acidity. It forms a lake with magnesium hydroxide and is yellow-red. Forms chelate with metal ions, especially iron ions, causing discoloration. About 5mg / kg of iron ions will start to affect the color of Chemicalbook pigment. When it is above 10mg / kg, it will become reddish brown and the dyeing ability will decrease.
