General Description Gadopentetate dimeglumine is an ionic, clear, colorless toslightly yellow, gadolinium-based contrast agent indicatedto visualize lesions with abnormal vascularity in the CNSand body. This salt solution has 6.9 times the osmolality ofplasma. Like other gadolinium-based contrast agents, theprimary clinical effect is on T1 relaxation time.
