Description:
Citric Acid Monohydrate is colorless translucent crystal or white coarse to fine powder crystal.
Odorless, but has a taste of strong acidity. It’s easy weathering in dry air, the relative density of 1.542 and the melting point is 135℃. Soluble in water (209g/100ml, 25℃; pH 2.31 for 1% solution is 2.31) and ethanol. It soluble in ethyl ether slightly.
Application:
Mainly used in food and beverage industry as sour agent, seasoning and preservative, preservative. In the chemical industry, cosmetic industry and washing industry, citric Acid Monohydrateused is used as antioxidant, plasticizer, and detergent.
