The preparation methods
Add 24.4g(0.2mo1) benzoic acid, 50mL benzene, 18.4g(0.4mol) ethanol and 0.8g sulfuric acid into a three-bottle of 250mL water separator, and slowly heat and reflux until no water comes out of the separator. The reactants were first distilled under atmospheric pressure to recover benzoic acid and the remaining ethanol, and then distilled under vacuum. The fractions were collected at 101~103℃(2.66kPa) to obtain about 28g of the product.
