The preparation methods

[Method 1]
(1) Hydroxyl shrinkage. Benzaldehyde and acetaldehyde as raw materials. The cinnamaldehyde is formed by condensation under alkaline conditions. 133kg benzaldehyde, 400kg water, 10kg 40%-50% sodium hydroxide, 66.6kg acetaldehyde and 40-50kg benzene were added to the reaction pot successively, and stirred at 20℃ for 5h. At the end of the reaction, the benzene layer was stratified, then dilute acid and water until neutral. After recovery of benzene by vacuum distillation, the distillate at 130℃ (2.67Kpa) was collected to obtain 55-60kg cinnamaldehyde.
(2) Separation method of essential oil. Cinnamic oil and Ceylon oil contain about 55%-85% cinnamic aldehyde, which can be separated by sodium bisulfite addition method. The addition was separated by centrifugation, decomposed by dilute acid or alkali, distilled by steam and reduced pressure.

[Method 2]
Hydroxyaldehyde method
Cinnamaldehyde was synthesized from benzaldehyde and acetaldehyde under alkaline conditions. After recovery of benzene by vacuum distillation, the fraction of 130℃(2.67kPa) was collected to obtain 55~60kg cinnamaldehyde.
Single separation of essential oils
Cinnamic oil and Ceylon oil contain 55% ~ 85% cinnamic aldehyde which can be separated by sodium bisulfite addition method. The addition was separated by centrifugation, decomposed by dilute acid or alkali, distilled by steam and reduced pressure.

[Method 3]
By adding cinnamon oil or cinnamon oil with sodium bisulfite method, so that the adduct of cinnamaldehyde and sodium bisulfite with centrifugation method, washed with ether, and then with dilute alkali or acid solution decomposition, by water, and so on distillation and by vacuum distillation.
In the presence of sodium hydroxide, benzaldehyde and acetaldehyde were condensed together: benzaldehyde, acetaldehyde, water and sodium hydroxide solution were mixed and oscillated at room temperature for a week, and the oil was extracted by ether, dried by benzyl alcohol and distilled by vacuum.
