This product is an imidazole antifungal drug. It has antibacterial and bactericidal effects on dermatophytes, yeasts (Candida, Pityrosporum, Saccharomyces, Cryptococcus), biphasic fungi and fungi; except for Entomophthora, the product has antibacterial and bactericidal effects. Moulds, Sporothrix schenkoe, certain spores, and Mucor are weaker. The mechanism of action of this product is mainly to highly selectively interfere with the activity of fungal cytochrome P-450, thereby inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol on the fungal cell membrane.

Function

1. Systemic fungal infections, such as systemic candidiasis, paracoccidiosis, histoplasmosis, coccidioidomycosis, and blastomycosis.
 

2. Skin, hair, and finger (toe) infections caused by dermatophytes and/or yeasts (dermatophytes, onychomycosis, candida pericyoni, tinea versicolor, scalp pityriasis folliculitis and chronic skin Mucosal candidiasis, etc.). This product can be used to treat when the local treatment is ineffective or the drug cannot be used due to factors such as the site, area and depth of the infection.
 

3. Chronic and recurrent vaginal candidiasis that is ineffective in local treatment.
 

4. It is used to prevent and treat patients who are prone to fungal infections due to reduced immune function (hereditary and caused by diseases or drugs).
