Product description

Purple brown powder. Soluble in water, soluble in sodium sulfide solution, reddish brown to brown. It is dark blue-purple in concentrated sulfuric acid, and produces a brown precipitate after dilution; it is yellow-brown in alkaline hydrosulfite solution, and returns to normal color after oxidation.

Sulfur red brown B3R is mainly used for dyeing cotton, linen, viscose fiber, vinylon and its fabrics, as well as patch dyeing various brown colors with red light. It can also be combined with sulfur yellow brown 5G and sulfur black BN as the three primary colors to dye various gray, camel, light brown and other colors. Also used for leather coloring.
