PT-141 (Bremelanotide) originally developed from the peptide known as Melanotan 2 (MT-II) is the generic term for a new pharmaceutical grade synthetic aphrodisiac research peptide. It has been developed to address Erectile/Sexual Dysfunction or impotence in men, as well as sexual dysfunction in women (sexual arousal disorder).
