Vitamin B6 is also known as "anti-dermatitis vitamin". One of the B vitamins. It belongs to derivatives, including pyridoxine

(pyridoxine), pyridoxal (pyridoxal), pyridoxamine (pyridoxamine) three compounds, they exist in the form of mutual

conversion in food. However, vitamin B6 in plants is mostly pyridoxine, while in humans and animals, pyridoxal and

pyridoxamine are mostly contained. Human intestinal bacteria can also synthesize pyridoxine, and pyridoxine can be

converted into pyridoxal and pyridoxamine in the human body, but the latter two cannot be converted into pyridoxine.

The three have the same physiological activity. Vitamin B6 is rapidly converted into pyridoxal phosphate in the human

body. This compound plays an important role in amino acid metabolism and is a coenzyme for decarboxylase, transaminase,

kynurenase, deaminase, and desulfurization hydratase. It is also a coenzyme necessary for carbohydrate and fat metabolism,

central nervous system activity, and hemoglobin production. Vitamin B6 is widely found in nature. Egg yolks, fish, meat,

seeds, and grains (germ) are contained in a large amount. The general diet does not cause a lack of this vitamin. When

vitamin B6 is lacking, it can cause dermatitis, cramps, anemia and other symptoms.

Vitamin B6 is mainly used for vomiting caused by pregnancy, radiation sickness and anti-cancer drugs, vitamin B6

deficiency, seborrheic dermatitis, cheilitis, angular cheilitis and acute and chronic eczema. It can also be used in food

fortifiers, feed additives and cosmetics. .
