8-hydroxyquinoline is amphoteric, soluble in strong acid and strong base, ionized into negative ions in the base, binding hydrogen ions in the acid, with the least solubility at PH of 7.  

Product Function:

1.  Used as Medicine Raw Material, it is the raw material for the synthesis of cloridine, chloroiodoquinoline and pulsomesin, as well as the intermediates of Color Agent and Pesticide Raw Materials.This product is the intermediate of halogenated quinolines antiamebals, including quinodoform, chloroiodoquinolines, diiodoquinolines, etc;
2. Used as plexing agent and extraction agent for precipitation and separation of metal ions;
3. The adhesive strength and heat aging resistance of metal (especially stainless steel) can be improved by adding epoxy resin adhesive
4. Its sulfate and copper salts are excellent Preservatives Agent, disinfectants and fungicides.The maximum permissible content (quality score) in cosmetics is 0.3%, Sunscreen products and children under 3 years old (such as talcum powder) are prohibited.
