Product information

        Quinidine is a clinical anti-arrythmic drug which affects ionic currents in heart muscle and which has also been shown to be a potent blocker of several classes of K+ channel in a variety of cell types. Bath application of quinidine causes a dose-dependent reduction of the peak amplitude of Ik. The Kd for blockade of Ik at 0 mV is estimated to be 41 μM. Quinidine elicits a dose-dependent increase of the rate of the decay of Ik and this effect is enhanced by membrane depolarization. Quinidine also causes a 5 mV hyperpolarizing shift of the steady-state inactivation curve and increases the half-time for recovery from inactivation. Quinidine does not affect the onset of inactivation measured at -30 mV

Product Function/Application

1. Oral for atrial premature beats, atrial fibrillation, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, pre-excitation syndrome with supraventricular arrhythmia, premature ventricular contractions, ventricular tachycardia and fibrillation or atrial flutter after electroporation Maintenance treatment.
2.Intramuscular and intravenous no longer needed.

Product Application:

1. Oral: the first day, each 0.2g, every 2 hours 1, 5 consecutive times; such as invalid and no significant toxicity, the first 2 days to 0.3g each, the first 3 days each 0.4g, 1 every 2 hours for 5 consecutive times. The daily total should not exceed 2g.
After returning to normal heart rhythm, change to maintain the amount of daily 0.2 ~ 0.4g. If even for 3 to 4 days invalid or toxic reaction, should be discontinued.

2. Intravenous injection: used when necessary, and must be under ECG observation. Each 0.25g, diluted with 5% glucose solution to 50ml slow intravenous injection. Pediatric 2mg / kg each time.
