Pepsin is extracted from porcine gastric mucosa through our exclusive technique.
Pepsin is a digestive enzyme; it is extracted from Pepsinogen under PH 1.5-5.0 and the pepsinogen is secreted by the stomach cell. Pepsin can break down the protein solidified by gastric acid into sputum, but not further break it down into amino acids. when it contains 0.2%-0.4% hydrochloric acid (pH=1.6-1.8), its digestive power is the strongest. so it is usually used with dilute hydrochloric acid. clinically used for pepsin deficiency caused by dyspepsia by excessive protein foods, chronic atrophic gastritis, digestive dysfunction during recovery, gastric cancer and pernicious anemia.

Function and application:

1)Pepsin can be used as a digestive drug. Commonly used because of excessive consumption of protein foods caused by indigestion, recovery of the disease after the digestive function and chronic atrophic gastritis, gastric cancer, pernicious leukemia caused by pepsin deficiency and other symptoms.

2)Enzyme preparation. Mainly used for the manufacture of fishmeal and other proteins (such as soy protein) hydrolysis, cheese to make curd effect (combination with the bilirubin), it can also be used to prevent beer freezing and turbidity.

3)For biochemical research, protein structure analysis, medicine used as digestive enzymes.

4) In the production of milk cooling when used as a substitute for dry stomach.
