High quality Levamisole Hcl Hot sale 16595-80-5 Levamisole Hydrochloride
Levamisole Hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of the synthetic imidazothiazole derivative levamisole with anthelminthic and immunomodulating activities. In immunosuppressed states, levamisole may restore immune function by: 1) stimulating antibody formation, 2) stimulating T-cell activation and proliferation, 3) potentiating monocyte and macrophage phagocytosis and chemotaxis and 4) increasing neutrophil mobility, adherence, and chemotaxis.
Levamisole Hydrochloride is an immunomodulatory agent which selectively induces apoptosis in human micro-and macro vascular endothelial cells. In vitro studies suggest that Levamisole Hydrochloride has been used to cause cytotoxic effects in several types of tumor cell lines by potentiating the anti-proliferative effect of 5-fluorouracil. As a result of the cytotoxic effect of Levamisole Hydrochloride DNA fragmentation, release of cytochrome c into the cytoplasm, and the activation of caspase-3 has been observed in cells. Alternate studies have shown that Levamisole Hydrochloride can be used to inhibit the growth of Toxocara canis. Levamisole Hydrochloride has also been shown to increase T-lymphocyte function and macrophage chemotaxis in rheumatic disorder cells. Levamisole Hydrochloride is an activator of AChR. Levamisole Hydrochloride is an inhibitor of Alkaline Phosphatase.
Levamisole hydrochloride, the hydrochloride salt of a water-soluble imidazothiazole derivative, selectively activates acetylcholine receptor ion channels in nerve and muscle of nematodes (EC50 = 6 µM). It has anthelminthic and immunomodulating activities.
